NOTICE: (Updated March 5, 2010)

Beginning December 19, 2009, Books 'N Border Collies will be posting but only intermittently while I pursue personal goals. I plan to share some reading I'm doing, but there will be no reviews. I will, however, be sharing my exploration of vegetarian cooking and the cookbooks and websites I use to educate myself. I hope you enjoy it!

Audio Update

Well, that was interesting. I wasn't able to play the CD in the car or on a boom box, but, luckily, it played just fine in the PC CD player. Consequently, I was able to finish up that last disc of Portrait of an Unknown Woman while I worked. We can all sleep soundly tonight. :-)

And sleep soundly I must, as it is trial time again! Yippee! The boys had a great practice yesterday. Max-o jumped at his new lower height, and while he still had just a bit of stiffness/soreness, it was very minimal compared to the last few lessons. He is in denial that he has any problems. I cut his lesson a little short as soon as he showed signs of discomfort, and he was not at all happy with me. Crazy dog. He only has four runs each day this weekend, which is significantly less than what we do during lessons, so he should be fine. But I'll be keeping a close eye on my little man. Skye is competing on Sunday, and I fully expect him to be his usual surly but stellar self. He'll be glad it's only for one day for him this time!

After this trial, I'm planning to get those darn reviews written and Devil's Brood finished off. I'm anxious to get back to my normal reading pace. My output may have temporarily slowed, but that TBR pile didn't get the memo. :-)

Have a great weekend, everyone!

LOL @ the photo! I keep two CD players...learned the hard way. When one breaks, and it always does, I have a back-up. I am fairly easy going - okay, not really, but I get super upset when something bad happens to my audios!

Zetor ~ Thanks! And, yes, that's the book. It was really good!

Dar ~ Thanks! All the good blog vibes worked great. Max was awesome! :-)

J. Kaye ~ Good plan! It's odd how sometimes a disc will play on one and not on another.

Ex Libris ~ Thanks! Like I told Dar, all the good blog vibes worked great! :-)

Ladytink ~ I haven't heard of that one. I'll have to check it out!

Ha ha ha! I have to subscribe to ihasahotdog. Just not enough lols from icanhascheezburger alone.

We got a new cat recently, and that night, our other cat kept seeing her own reflection in the window, thinking it was the new cat, and jumping and hissing and fluffing up her fur.

Dewey ~ LOL at the kitty story! And I agree. I also spend way too much time laughing at LOL Politics section, too. That whole site is just too funny!
