NOTICE: (Updated March 5, 2010)

Beginning December 19, 2009, Books 'N Border Collies will be posting but only intermittently while I pursue personal goals. I plan to share some reading I'm doing, but there will be no reviews. I will, however, be sharing my exploration of vegetarian cooking and the cookbooks and websites I use to educate myself. I hope you enjoy it!

Hey Lezlie -- you DO know, right, that the TBR Challenge will be getting a "sister" in 2009? It's called TBR *Lite* -- and it gives you the option (if you choose) to change your list as you go. See the blog here: TBR *Lite* Challenge

MizB ~ I did forget about that! I'll have to decide later. I think my real issue is keeping linking to various lists at a reasonable level. :-)

J. Kaye ~ 50 of my own books and 50 library books finishes the 100+ Challenge, too!

Dar ~ This fits with everything except the Support Your Local Library Challenge. Hooray for multi-tasking! :-)

Naida ~ I loved it as soon as I heard it. So did my hubby. He thinks I'll clear some shelf space now. LOL!

So how many 50 book challenges have you signed for already this year? Wow! I bet you'll be doing some cross-posting of challenges :-)

Lezlie said...

Kim ~ Cross-Challenges are the key to my whole plan. :-) The 50 books for the Library Challenge and the 50 books for the Read Your Own Books Challenge cover the 100+ Reading Challenge, and the 50 books for the New Author Challenge can help with all of those. Same with the Decades Challenges and any other smaller ones I can't resist. I'm ridiculously excited to see if I can pull this off! :-)

I really ought to do this!

I ought to do this too, but should limit myself to books that are already in my possession. :-)

Lezlie said...

Ladytink ~ You should! The more, the merrier! :-)

Joanna ~ I was going to make the rule for myself, too, but I'm finding that I have trouble following too many rules, even when I make them myself! :-)

Hi, Found your site at MizB's, so I came for a quick snoop. I love book bloggers...their sites can be as interesting and fun as any bookstore.

I loved your pet photos.... I'm especially a kitty fan (I have one at present). I also really like dogs, but I tend to enjoy them vicariously through my friends and family, and fellow bloggers!

Oh yes, I've also joined the RYOB challenge for 2009. Happy Reading!

Hi, Brenda! Thanks so much for visiting! Dogs are my first love, but I adore my kitties, both Jack and the late Cleopatra. Jack is just a big sweetie who is spending his old age sleeping and getting lots of tummy rubs. :-) And welcome to the RYOB Challenge! This is going to be a fun one!
