NOTICE: (Updated March 5, 2010)

Beginning December 19, 2009, Books 'N Border Collies will be posting but only intermittently while I pursue personal goals. I plan to share some reading I'm doing, but there will be no reviews. I will, however, be sharing my exploration of vegetarian cooking and the cookbooks and websites I use to educate myself. I hope you enjoy it!

I have not read Graham Greene, but some of those titles sound intriguing. I look forward to reading your reviews.

I own a lot of Greene works, for some reason. I've learned to find some real treats buried within his writing.

By the way, I've nominated you for an award (like you don't have enough going on for the holidays, ha). You can pick it up here.

Carrie ~ I will definitely check out your review. Thanks for the link!

Charley ~ I've only read a couple of things, but there is something about his writing that has me lining up more for 2009.

Michele ~ Thank you!!

I need to read more Greene-every time I read a novel of his I'm in utter awe. Good thing he wrote so many!

I have never read anything by this author, to be truthful I had not even heard of him until your post. I see he has many books so I will have to check into one to see what the fuss might be-can you recommend a favorite?

Eva ~ Good to see you out and about! :-) And I agree with you. I have his complete short stories plus one novel to start out the year with, and I just ordered two more.

Dar ~ The only novel I've read is The Power and the Glory, and I find myself thinking of various scenes from it even now. I'll be getting to a few more of his pretty quickly though. Some of his short stories might be a good way to get a feel for him without committing to a whole book, too. I'm learning that is a *huge* benefit of short stories in general.
