NOTICE: (Updated March 5, 2010)

Beginning December 19, 2009, Books 'N Border Collies will be posting but only intermittently while I pursue personal goals. I plan to share some reading I'm doing, but there will be no reviews. I will, however, be sharing my exploration of vegetarian cooking and the cookbooks and websites I use to educate myself. I hope you enjoy it!

Photo Meme

I've been tagged by Reading Mama! Let's see, fifth photo in the fifth folder. Hmmmm. . . Searching, searching, OK, got it. Here we go:

It's Max! The pic is from 2007, and he's probably waiting for someone to throw a ball. That's his usual activity. :-) And just for extra credit, here's Skye from the same folder:

Such handsome men, if I don't say so myself! :-)

In a previous post I declared the rest 2009 to be tag-free here at Books 'N Border Collies, so I won't tag anyone specifically. But if you want to play along, post the fifth photo in the fifth folder in your photos stash and leave a link here so we can check it out!

Oh, they are so cute! Skye has such a beautiful coat in that picture. Lucky doggies to have a great (and active) mom like you!

They are very handsome!

Did I ever tell you that I was married to a boarder collie that looked quite a bit like Max. Bwefore you freak out, it wasn't consumated. LOL!

His name was Sid. When I moved here to BC, I lived with my brother and sister in-law for about a month. I shared a room with my niece who was about 9 months old (now 17) and Sid. The bed was a twin and was Sids, but they told me to just push him out. Yeah right, me push him out of his own bed, no way! So I slept with him. During the night he started pawing at the covers, he wanted to get under them too.

The next morning my sister in-law can in the room to get the baby and saw me and Sid in bed together. She gave a little scream and my brother comes rushing in. She said, 'they must have gotten married becuase their sleeping like husband and wife." LOL!

Sid and I slept that way every night that I lived there. After when I came to visit he would get all excited and cry. He would also pull on my arm and lead me to bed to cuddle.

Sid has passed on and I miss him dearly. I'm sure he's playing with Robbie and Hoochie soemwhere.

Andi ~ They would probably like that! :-)

Teddy Rose ~ That is soooo funny! They have amazing personalities, and I'm not surprised at all that he kept it up. They know what they like! :-) I'll bet they are up there somewhere having a ball!
