NOTICE: (Updated March 5, 2010)
Beginning December 19, 2009, Books 'N Border Collies will be posting but only intermittently while I pursue personal goals. I plan to share some reading I'm doing, but there will be no reviews. I will, however, be sharing my exploration of vegetarian cooking and the cookbooks and websites I use to educate myself. I hope you enjoy it!

Look What Fed Ex Just Delivered!!!
The ARC for Devil's Brood!! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! I have a few other review books scheduled to be published prior to this one, so it's going to have to wait just a tiny bit. Until then, I will stare longingly at its cover and grin like the Cheshire Cat at my good fortune!

Jealous, jealous, jealous.
Congrats Lezlie! I bet you're excited since I see this one is the third in a trilogy. It sounds really good. I'm going to have to go look up what the other two are. Looks like I may be adding this trilogy to my tbr list also.
Years ago, S. K. Penman wrote an excellent novel entitled "Here Be Dragons" about a Welsh prince and his young wife. I don't even like historical romances, but I liked this one. I'm jealous too!
Oooh, how exciting!! Enjoy it!
Marg ~ I admit I was *green* jealous of people who got the ARC for this. I was *thrilled* when Peter called to tell me I got one!
Dar ~ I was hoping to have time to read the two previous books (When Christ and His Saints Slept & Time and Chance), but other review obligations will prevent that. I plan on reading them as soon as I can though! I kind of know the general history up to this point in the story, so I don't think I'll have any trouble with starting here.
Chartroose ~ I've heard nothing but praise for this author. I can't wait to start this one!
Andi ~ Thanks!
Looks great! And I just love that pic of the Cheshire Cat.
I have just finished an ARC by David Fuller called Sweetsmoke.
Wonderful!! Especially if you like historical fiction. I can't wait to post the review. I hope you enjoy your ARC as much as mine.
Have a great week Lezlie!
J.C. ~ I couldn't resist Cheshire Cat. He is the best! And I'm pretty sure that's exactly how I looked when I got the book. :-) I have Sweetsmoke requested at the library. I've heard nothing but great things about it.
You have a great week, also!
Lezlie
