We Are Spinal Tap

So, I was at the bar last night waiting for Tony to show up for our gig. Peter and I had been there for an hour, Tony had all the equipment and was no where to be found. It was fifteen minutes before we were supposed to start when he finally pulled into the parking lot. As we were loading in the gear he told me, "Sorry I'm late, but I went to the wrong bar. I had to look on our website to see where we were really playing tonight."

I'm here to tell you everything you ever heard about musicians is true, and Spinal Tap might as well have been a real documentary. :-)

  6. Hi Lezlie,

It's better but gets sore after being on the computer or knitting so I am still try to cut back on the amount of time I spend on the computer. As for knitting I just do a row or 2 while watching TV.

    Thanks for your support!

  7. I totally understand Lezlie, I don't normally know where we're singing until just before I leave. I'm doing a charity event this weekend and someone asked what charity and I had no idea!!! :-)

  8. Joanna ~ LOL! I realize I'm somewhat of an anomaly. I am hyper-organized because I can't stand the feeling of flying by the seat of my pants. :-) I must learn patience. . .

  9. This is the only area of my life where I'm like this - I picked it up from Joe. He used to really pi** me off because on a Friday he still wouldn't know which country he had a concert in the following day. I suppose I had to adopt his methods to keep sane! :-)

  10. Joanna ~ That's understandable. We can't change someone else, so we need to adjust ourselves. I've been working that angle all weekend. Tony has been my best friend for many years. He's always been like that, and he always will be. Next time we have a show, I'll just be sure to mention where it's at when I talk to him that afternoon. :-)
