Peter and I thought we'd try our hands during National Poetry Month. Neither one of us are poetry people, but this was fun to try! I think we captured the boys' personalities in these two:
For Skye:
They run when I come.
I'm the boss and they know it.
Sheep herding is great!
For Max:
Throw the ball! Throw the
ball! Throw- Is that the mailman
outside? Throw the ball!

These are fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBermudaonion ~ Thanks! You have a great weekend!

Lol, I like Max's the best.
ReplyDeleteLadytink ~ It kind of reminds me of Dog Christmas Carols. The Border Collie one goes:
ReplyDeleteJingle Bells! Jingle Bells!
Jingle Bells! Jingle Bells!
Jingle Bells! Jingle Bells!
It captures their OCD. :-)
Lezlie

It makes me smile that your border collies write haiku, too... My miracle Border Collie, Angelo, has just published his book of haiku, along with some of his favorite photos... check it out at http://www.amazon.com/Border-Collie-Haiku-ebook/dp/B004MME4XG
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for helping spread the word that Border Collies are poets!
